Under the theme "Out Camp, Out Cook, Out Scout," the event challenges patrols to demonstrate peak outdoor skills, teamwork, and Scout spirit. Key features include:
Skill Competitions: Patrols compete in events hosted by participating units to test their technical proficiency.
Scout Fellowship: The weekend concludes with traditional campsite inspections, elaborate "Gateway" pioneering projects, and a district-wide campfire.
Backcountry Ethics: The event strictly enforces Leave No Trace principles, including a total "pack-it-in, pack-it-out" trash policy and elevated-only fires.
